XFL The second stringers and culls are playing footsball again

I've watched two and have been watching the Vipers and Guardians. So far, it's football.
YOu can sometimes listen in on the plays being called in. ANGUS 29 - MESA LEFT MONDAY MONDAY.
They kept the kickoff but you can't kick it into the endzone or shorter than the 25. No kicking extra points. You have to go for it. You have the option of three different extra points.
One from the one, two from the five and three from the ten yard lines.

I haven't watched a lot yet, but saw parts of a couple of games yesterday, and plan to watch a game later today.

I see it kind of like Arena Football... it's football at a time of year no one else is playing football, so I'll watch.

I watched both games yesterday, planto watch both today. So far, it's something to watch. I like some of the new rules, others not so much. The kickoff is interesting. The kicking and receiving teams line up 5 yeards apart, with the kicker kicking from the standard place, teams can't move until receiver touches the ball. So, there is a possibility of a run back, but no high speed collinions since there is only 5 yards before contact. Unlikely to get a concussion and/or the "block in the back" penalty.

I like the kickoff and point after rules. I'll be interested to see the OT play out at some point. The double forward pass is kinda odd.

As said above...its football which I like watching. Somewhere between College and NFL level.
