Congrats! Please tell me you've helped her choose a major which will eventually result in a degree with some usable and marketable skills, right??? No 'Women's Studies'? No Social Justice Warrior stuff???

<edit> Don't think this is an attack, we don't all have as much influence as we'd like. I paid $100k for an 'art' degree for my niece. <facepalm>

So proud of Chigger. It still amazes me that I met her almost 13 years ago. She was a little... chigger. LOL. I'm proud of her. Y'all raised some good girls. I'm happy for you, Evan. :)

Thanks Eli. Yeah, the years have sure flown, haven't they.

Thanks Danny. She started off in meteorology, but the science damn near ate her lunch. So now she will graduate this December with a degree in administration. She wants to be a student counselor here at SSC where I work.

A BIG thanks to everybody else. I'm very proud of my daughters. My oldest received her bachelor's degree from East Central university. She's now a kindergarten teacher and the mother of my two grandsons: Elijah Cooper and William Travis.

Good on you, GED. You've proven to be an excellent roll model and "influencer" to your kids. It also sounds like they have proven to be kind of like a "chip off the old block."

Awesome work done by Chigger.

HA! I really do wish I could take the credit for her success, but the gospel truth is, her mother is/was the driving force behind her recent (and every other) accomplishment.

All of her and her sister's lives, the best advice I gave them were the words of the late, great Mickey Mantle...

"I'm the perfect role model, don't be like me."
