Yea I was caught up in making a handle and attaching some sort of brass case to it and file the case to the needed volume.

But i have a neat load that takes a tiny amount of powder 2gr of Red Dot.
.3cc dipper from Lee works great. I wanted another dipper and got to thinking.
How about a tooth brush. I will cut the brush off and have a roundish handle and just drill a hole into the thing.
EEHHH the hole needed to be too deep for the brush to work well..and then static.

I walked into the garage and seen a foam paint brush on the floor in the junked area.
Dowel rod handle. I will take the used foam off and use the dowel rod.

OK it is round and I can't card off on a round dowel rod. I took a flat file to the end and drilled a hole.
Checked for volume and drilled deeper ..checked many times and kept going deeper until I was at exactly 2 gr.
I trickle powder into the dowel rod dipper hole and measured 5 throws 4 were on the money and 1 was 1/2 of a tenth of a grain off.
Good enough and way to easy.

I do know humidity will swell my wood and make it a different volume. But I do not think it will change enough to matter.
Zero static and it cards off really easy with a paper business card.
You could make a hole on each end or offset a few holes and mark the sizes and have many on 1 dowel rod.

Hmmm... for tiny amounts, how about a cut-off rimfire cartridge (22 S/L/LR/Mag?). Ya could stick it (or several) in a dowel/toothbrush handle or whatever.

Just a thought. I don't reload, so apologies if this sounds dumber than a stump.

Oh yea you could make the hole tight slide a case into the hole and have multiple cases..HHHMMM

If the case mouth is too small of diameter the thing will not fill super evenly.
A tick wider like 25 auto would possibly get it done.

I do a lot of dipping making sets of ten rnd test sets. In addition to red and yellow Lee sets and several custom repurposed cases. My dip container is a repurposed 35mm film developer container, stainless steel, flat bottom and a fabulous tool with a new lease on life. I have found a 45/70 case makes a fine trickler of sorts. Large enough to load a couple of smaller cartridges before refilling, large enough to see powder flow.
