It is the Lee 6 cavity 401-175 TC.. My buddy shot a bunch of them and they are accurate from his gun.
I got a 40 Hi-Point last year and never shot it. I love my 45 Hi-Points.
I am not sure If I have a sizer the right size to run these coated bullets through.
I need to slug my barrel and then see if I can load a case and have it chamber with a bullet .0005 or so larger than the bore for a minimum.
So the sizing will be put off until then.

Hey USA made with USA parts lifetime warranty and cheap and accurate. isn't that what most of us want.
Some want name brand or cool looking..I am not spoiled like that. I am spoiled to accuracy though.

I have been pre-heating the oven to 200°. Put bullets in for 10 minutes and then dump in to powder in tumbler.

Hotter and the powder clumps and bullets stick together.

I might try that, but I don't trust my oven. I should just give in and go buy a new one.

BTW - I've been sticking with 400 degrees when baking mine, because both Harbor Freight and Eastwood call for 400 degrees except with 'clear.' Do other powder coating material manufacturers recommend different temperatures?

I need to try pre-heating some before coating them like @Cat City Slim suggested. I assume you're dumping them into a metal container of some sort to coat them after pre-heating? What are you using that's got a lid? TIA.

No, I put them in a plastic bucket to coat. Remember, they should only be pretty warm to the touch, not hot. If they are too hot to hold in your bare hand, they are too hot and the powder will clump on them. It will take a bit of experimentation for you to find the sweet spot.

Get an oven thermometer at the Dollar Tree

Oh, I've got one. I've used it every time since the very beginning, because my oven did come from a second hand store. It's got an old dial type temperature control and I always use the thermometer to verify temperature rather than relying on that dial setting. It's not very accurate.

As long as you are reaching 400°, you should be good. Those thermometers are USUALLY accurate to + / - 20°
