I can't imagine being in a state of mind that I'd be willing to do that to my son, mom and family.

Be thankful for that. I fully understand now how people can contemplate suicide. I can take physical pain, but emotional pain is 10x times worse. Without a good support network it can override everything else.

It's interesting that the one that happened in Shawnee recently had no publicity and several here said that was normal but this one is all over the local news channels.

I guess after one of them gets hold of a story the rest if them have to air it to save face or whatever.

I'm sorry to hear of anyone so desperate that they feel like suicide is the answer but I can understand the pain being so bad that it seems like a viable option.

Remember the “shooting” at H&H that had helicopters all flying over that the guy had simply cut himself with the gasses from a loose revolver with a bad grip?

Here is of one the few articles on the Shawnee one. It may have gained less publicity because of occurring on tribal jurisdiction. Not sure. But the OKC new stations don’t have any bad weather to get everyone round up over.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and the gun range employees that had to go though this experience.

Yeah, that article was the only info I found about that incident. Not much there.
