I remember something about that on the news a while back. But I'd still hate to wager much on him refusing a toke if someone offered... :D
I remember him being on an episode of Monk. He and Monk were on his tour bus, and Monk started to say something about a smell when Willie cut him off. "I don't smell anything. And neither do you." :D

So why in the heck does Lowe get to try an end around with another petition for signatures if he's already been knocked down twice?
From the OP's link:
Lowe’s initiative petition would need about 95,000 signatures to reach a 2020 ballot. Lowe (D-OKC) first spearheaded and attempted a referendum petition in the fall, but the process began late in the signature-collection window and fell short.

It appears his timing to gain signatures was off, so he just ran out of time. That's his story and he's sticking with it.

Yeah. He had no way of getting it done so he stalled and blamed the late start rather than accept he wouldn’t win. And his followers believe him.

Hey - Bloomie keeps sending checks to the Mommies and they keep cashing them so they’re down with the struggle. Lowe is paid for so the shill goes on...

Yeah. That's kind of like Bloomberg telling people that he could teach them how to farm. "Dig a hole, drop in seed, cover it up, add water, and lo and behold, corn comes up."

As if that was all there was to farming.
Well cow manure! You mean to tell me great grandpa, grandpa, and dad and I were doing it all wrong?

You four weren't alone...

...I can name grandpa, my dad, myself, and my wife's father as well. And, my grandpa homesteaded his 160 acres way back when. He told me once of hauling his wheat harvest roughly 50 miles to a grain elevator in Texhoma, OK.

Oh, and he hauled that wheat in a horse drawn wagon.

Maybe Lowe and Loring ought to consider finding a line of work that doesn't stress them out so much. Maybe the voters in those districts can help them OUT with that.

Well whattya know? At least he can say he tried...

This was and is more "feel good" legislative BS designed to give him and his close followers a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Sad thing is, in the article I read, he said he wasn’t gonna stop. What is this like, his third attempt at crashing and burning?
