I have three Bosch cordless 18V drills. I love them. I have abused the heck out of one of one of them at work and it still runs like it did when it was new. I got a drill and impact drill in a combo pack for $119 two years ago at Lowe’s. I would make the purchase again in a heartbeat.

So many difference experiences with different makes and models of cordless drills. I’ve had Bosch and Dewalt drills - hated the former, liked the latter. If I were to plunk down the coin for a new drill, I’d look closely at Milwaukee. The placement of the LED’s on their drills that I saw is suboptimal, though.

I need to get a lightweight set for my reloading bench. Preferably one with a small drill, maybe a hand vac, something like that. I dunno. Hadn't thought about it, but I do need something now that I see this topic. I really only need the drill for my brass trimmer, my case prep center is powered. Hmmm... I need to think about compact and easy to use. Don't need a ton of POWAH for this, but some versatility would be nice.

I’m just a dyi guy, but I’m a tool nut. On my workbench I currently have Mikita, Dewalt, Milwaukee, and Bosch power tools from 12 to 18 volt. By far, the tools I use most are Mikita. Still use the little 12 volt drills for 75% of what I do around the shop/house.

I buy the stuff AvE recommends. He gives no-bs in depth reviews on tools and junk. Not like the normal dudes that pull something out of the box and day "Seems well built" but seriously in depth tear downs. Most knockoff batteries are junk, but there are exceptions. AvE is good people.
Yup he isn't safe for work or kids but knows what he is talking about for sure.

While we're on the subject of batteries, I took my Bosch 18V battery to Bulbs and Batteries and they replaced the batteries and it didn't last a year. I'm not sure if this is typical but it irritated me because the Bosch is useless without a battery...I have two dead batteries now for the Bosch.
