It's nickel plated and bead blasted, 18" cyl with extended mag.
It was what I carried to camp on the beach. Nickel slicks up the action and helps stop corrosion with the salt air.
What did I get this week.... hmm.

I’ve got one too. I don’t think I’ve seen one of the long barrel model 940’s with the swing out cylinder option. The swing out was $15 and the satin nickel was $5 extra.
Recently picked up a GI replacement Numax hard slide and GI replacement barrel for one of my pistols. After doing a little bit of trigger work and installing a much tighter fitting slide and barrel, it's now an excellent shooting pistol and a nice representation of an 80's era USGI 1911A1.

I wouldn’t call it “cool” gun related, but I got a pretty good deal on a gun. Picked-up a NIB M&P 2.0 full-size 9mm, no thumb safety, from a penny-auction on Gunbroker for $310.00; no CC fee and 2-day shipping was $26.00. With the $10.00 transfer fee the total price was $346.00.

Too bad it's not a decommissioned M45A1. It least this one has the ion bond finish instead of crappy cerakote.
