Your correct. The filing date has been moved as of today. Anything anybody heard before today is not correct.

^^^It's my understanding, that ***WAS*** what the Treasury Secretary originally said at a press conference earlier this week (i.e., that you still needed to file by April 15, but most taxpayers would have until July to pay the IRS).
As usual with the federal goobermint, the story has now changed. Later this week the delay in filing was announced.

Thanks for the update, it reality that makes more sense for people to be able to stay in. I had already dropped mine off to my tax man also.
