From the article:
"1. Health care and public health workers
Hospital and laboratory personnel, caregivers, mental health workers, doctors, nurses, researchers, pharmacists, dentists, social workers, technicians, as well as funeral home and cemetery workers."
What about the workers who keep the hospital running? Janitors, food service workers, plant maintenance, procurement/supply and many other employees who keep the hospital running. Even day care for the hospital employees.

Same for grocery stores and filling stations. We gotta have food and fuel to get those essential workers to work.

My wife's an RN, her surgical center closed down for at least the next couple of days while they make a final decision on what they are gonna do.

I have heard St. John/Ascension was telling their providers they were going to close clinics and have staff come help at the hospital(s).

Anyone able confirm and/or expound on that? I didn't think we had that many cases yet...

<edit> I wonder if this was a "if/then" scenario... there are supposedly only 6 cases in Tulsa county right now.

My wife read where the VA Hospital in OKC has discouraged routine clinical visits due to the virus. I've rescheduled or cancelled some of my appointments already but have one coming up on in the 7th of Apr and am undecided as to whether I should reschedule that one or not. Anyone have any similar information on the VA Hospital?

My wife does not work there, but does work in a surgery center that does elective surgeries. It is possible that they will work on call teams, and handle emergency surgeries instead of the hospital, such as appendix, broken arms etc. to keep them out of the ER's and hospitals.

My wife works for ASScension and I'll ask her when she gets off her shift tonight. They have negative pressure rooms open right now, so I'm not sure about needing staff..... yet.

My wife is an RN at the Heart Hospital. It’s a ‘for profit’ hospital owned 51% by the docs and 49% by the Sisters of Mercy. She has yet to hear what the HH role will be in this.
They may be an overflow if needed. She said it’s a ghost town because it’s spring break and the docs didn’t schedule any procedures. With the cafeteria closed to the public and visitor hours strictly enforced, there’s no one around.

Tuesday, Company said they were releasing "non-essential" personnel to go home.

Funny how all those sit in the office, over-paid, company can't survive without me, do nothing bosses were suddenly going home and the workers were still working.

My brother was having really bad headaches earlier this week (he has underlying medical issues), so my mom called the doctor (whose office is in Purcell). They told her if it really got bad to take him to the emergency room, but their clinic was currently closed. Mom said their voicemail tree message basically said if you think you have something, don't come in, and if you don't think you have something, don't come in, either...
