Could be wrong but from what I gather salons and barber shops (along with many other businesses) have been deemed non essential......no biggie to me on the barber shops I bet I'll look just plum purty with a ponytail or man bun.

Anyway, how about liquor stores anybody know for sure if they'll be forced to close ?

I think they are allowed to stay open for now because there usually aren't more than 10 people in the store at a time in most of them. (I'm looking at you Byron's)
It wouldn't surprise me if they get closed too if the situation worsens.

Wife said just now that on local news that the counties that currently have the virus the liquor stores will have to shut down at midnight.....beginning tomorrow they'll have to remain closed but can deliver.

It's not gonna be good for the world if I have to go without my scotch. It's bad enough I can't wipe my ass right now. :bah:
We won’t make it without alcohol.
They’re an essential business and they deliver so we’ll never suffer the inconvenience of sobering up long enough to drive...and welcome back.:drunk2:

Our mayor has closed non essential businesses (mostly because our governor is worthless, but i digress). Liquor stores are still open since our state ABC is allowing curbside pickup. So, pull up, call your order into the liquor store, they bring it out. Some even have switched to venmo so you don't have to exchange money.

Less exposure than getting curbside food to go, really.

Per Norman city mayor's proclamation:

For the purposes of this order, essential businesses will mean:
* Healthcare Operations and Essential Infrastructure
* Grocery stores, farmers’ markets, farm and produce stands, markets, food banks, convenience stores, liquor stores, and other establishments engaged in the retail sale of canned food, dry goods, fresh fruits and vegetables, drinks, pet supply, fresh meats, fish, and poultry, and any other household consumer products such as cleaning and personal care products. This includes stores that sell groceries and also sell other non-grocery products, and products necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences and persons;

So, it should be safe, for now.
