When a homeowner (me) gets hit for $1500 in racing tires and wheels, a report is made the next day and nothing is done even when a name is given. It's true.

This is true. I see people mentioning on prior pages that they might want to start to think about loading mags. Texans are all more like, "I might want to think about ordering armor." And then you see that lead times are currently 10+ weeks out at most retailers of said product. If this bull chit is still going on in 10 weeks you'll probably actually want/need the plate carriers at that point.
