There’s a HV match
round that’s been shown to have the most
Reliable rimfire ignition. And in a rimfire self defense round, the fact that it goes bang as reliably as possible is more important than type of bullet. It’s a green label I think. I have a box around here somewhere.

CCI Green Tag. Yeah; I think that's it. I forgot about that cause it's been a long time since I've seen any around. I read on the internet that it will knock a man back like 3 feet! A hit in the hand will rip an arm off...stuff like that. That Green Tag is what the Israeli's use I heard; them and the CIA Hit Squads.

You are very wrong.

Yes, it may be lethal. But it may not stop the offender from doing what he wants to you and your family before he expires.

"You are very wrong" Maybe so, I apparently haven't been in as many shootouts as you have. Next time there is a question on the matter on the forum I will quickly refer everyone to the resident expert.

My opinion (worth nothing) is that the .22 is as good as any other round for self defense. No recoil to pull you off target.

Man, I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.

.22 vs 9mm, .40, or .45acp being as good as another in self defense. How could you be serious?

I haven’t been in any shootouts. But, I have trained and studied several aspects of self defense to also include ballistics, wounds, and criminal mindset. Yes, a 22 is better than nothing. But, it is not as good as other proven service rounds.

You made a pretty bold statement. If you can’t take a counter point without making a personal attack, you need to look at the mirror at the real problem here.
