So I had a patient. He went in to the hospital several times recently, he had lung cancer last year. He was treated with radiation and seems like he beat that, but it left his lungs with scarring, of course, had some COPD, some heart disease, likely.

He ended up in the hospital 10 days ago, had a heart attack when he arrived, but his condition from COVID-19 was so poor, they essentially just put him on comfort care.

They kept him in the hospital and treated him with oxygen and fluids and tried to keep him comfortable, but ended up passing.

So his primary diagnosis was COVID-19, secondaries were COPD, myorcardial infarction, pnuemonia, etc. So, his cause of death is multifactorial, but he is listed as a COVID-19 death, not as a primary myocardial infarction. Or COPD. Or stroke. Or pneumonia.

So... there are LOTS of people like him, who have underlying health conditions, who in normal times would end up dying from heart attack (myocardial infarction), or from stroke, or from COPD, or whatever. But according to all the Google-doctors out there who are worried that "normal" causes of death are being "attributed" to COVID-19, my patient should be reported as a something else, I guess. Because if he had died from his myocardial infarction or from a stroke or from respiratory failure secondary to COPD in a normal month, one of those would have been listed as his primary cause of death, but now it's not.

So, somehow, all this is a giant f***ing conspiracy to make COVID-19 seem like it is worse, so that we can falsify the numbers, so we can scare people. You know, because all these DOCTORS on the ground who are taking care of people, who are fighting this illness, who are trying to save people's lives, they're really just looking for ways they can amp up the numbers, because... you know... doctors are IN LEAGUE with politicians. Just like they're IN LEAGUE with drug companies. Just like they're IN LEAGUE with insurance companies. All out just to screw the little people, the ones who we spent literally DECADES training to help, because we don't give a SH|T about them. Right.

I'm just sick of hearing it.

Wonder why all the people who have passed the antibody tests that they have recovered do not get to go back to work? Then others can make a decision to go to places other than WM, Lowes, liquor stores, pot shops. carry out food etc or not, knowing they are in a safe place around people who work there who have already had it and recovered as long as they practice the "social distancing" as they are now out shopping. Or open places like machine shops, manufacturing facilities etc who have no outside visitors. Production starts back up as people get well and go back to work.

On the subject of government overreach, and the police enforcing ridiculous laws; in CA the police were giving $1000 tickets to people for sitting in their cars watching the sunset.

Sorry if this vid has been posted:

We don't have widespread antibody testing, hell, we just got SOME of them approved last week, I think. And we are hearing stories about people possibly 'reinfecting'? We don't know if these are different strains that are just different enough that their IgG immunity isn't sufficient to protect them, or if the immune response isn't sustaining like we think it should, or what.

Again... we just don't have enough information about this illness to really know.

I wonder who'll be the first politician to claim covid-19 actually reduces deaths from heart disease, cancer, accidents, stroke, Alzheimer's, flu, homicide, etc.......lol, someone will claim it I'm sure.
The other chart shows that you were more likely to die of normal pneumonia than the Covid19 during that period, especially older people. And normal pneumonia was killing in all age groups. By normal pneumonia I mean non-covid19.

Stories of people possibly reinfecting is not people reinfecting. We need facts, not questions, suppositions, and fear. So, yes, we don't have enough information and do not know. It seems to me that this question of reinfecting should be as easy as testing for the Covid was the first time around and we would know by now. Yes, I'm skeptical.

So it looks like we might be in the clear now.
