Several of the studies in the link I posted are RCT’s.
That study is difficult to interpret. It is in the link I posted as well. If you dig into it, it was mainly rhinovirus which is quite often transmitted through aerosols, not droplets. Also in their “control” arm, almost everyone wore surgical masks, so it was actually medical masks vs cloth masks vs medical masks. The discussion section of the article admits this.

I'm not being argumentative, I'm honestly curious. I'm not sold on the cloth masks, especially with all shaming and virtual signalling that's going on. I DO however think they are better than an elbow as I stated previously, but that's just me.
It also depends on what "cloth" is used for the mask, how many layers and if you supplement it with a filter of some kind (HEPA vacuum cleaner bag or blue shop towel, etc.) and how it fits. Not all cloth masks are created equal.
But with warm, humid Oklahoma weather approaching I can see where any mask will be hard to tolerate if worn very long.

Fair enough, but I have yet to see one person post or wear anything other than material used for clothing when it comes to these types of masks.
