Finally made it out to the range to put rounds on my new 6GT barrel. Ran about 30 to foul it in and see what kind of velocity we were starting at with 105gr Hornady's from Clay.

ARC Nucleus + Barloc
MPA Comp BA Chassis
6GT 26" X-Caliber 1:7.7 M24
TriggerTech Special
ARC M10 One Piece Mount
Sightron SIII 6-24x50
Atlas CAL + RRS Mount

105s were doing ~2960fps averaged over 15 rounds. Plan is to work up a 109gr Berger load on top of RL16, 6.5 or 4350 equivalents as available.

Also ran the 24" .308 and 20" 6.5 grendel gasser out to the 500m steel for funsies.

Very nice! I would love to be able to set up a rig like that for long range shooting.

I like the way you pre-load the bipod. I don't see many guys doing that.

Did you try shooting any groups and did they tighten up once you fouled in the barrel?

No groups this go around, just zero'd, checked MV and ran it out to the 500m plate rack!
