At one time Dong's was fine, and they had the market on surplus stuff.
Long before the Sandy Hook hoax and the price increases, they had gone south, big time.

Sold me a gun with a stretched chamber - I told the dude I didn't care, as I was only using the action for a build. He got ALL kinds of pissed, tried to smear the reputation of the gunsmith that evaluated it...just AH deluxe all the way around.

Jerry's Reloading on 51st is where to go. Good guy.

I've been in there one time looking for a speed loader for my .44 mag before going to Alaska. I had great customer service. Guy took me right to the speed loaders and pointed out which one I needed, but that was before OSA.....
I've been afraid to drive down that road ever since in fear my truck or I may be recognized going into that store and be excommunicated from OSA.
Likewise as I’ve had 1/2 dozen purchases go well with no problems ther my self. That said, this site has a distinct tendency to kick them pretty hard

I went there several times years ago, and the customer service ranged from good to indifferent, but what stopped me from going back was when they got p!ssy with me for pointing out that their 40% markup on a new RPK-47 was way out of line with the going market rate.

Last year I was in Tulsa for about a week setting up and working at a trade show. During our setup, I was talking with some of our local Tulsa guys about ranges, and gun shops in the area. I can remember 3 of the guys telling me independently to avoid Dong's because of one reason or another. Mostly they said that they are known in the area among many in the gun community for taking advantage of the lesser informed. Very high markups, bad advice trying to up-sell people on other items, etc. I avoided it. I found 2A just down the street from them and usually make a trip there each time I visit Tulsa. They also have a good reloading room and very helpful staff.

In the early 90s there were still milsurp rifles in barrels for cheap money. There service sucked but as long as you didn’t need anything you were good to go
