Looking at these links, there is one disturbing fact that glares: EVERY state receives aid from the Feral Government. Regardless of how you look at this, where the money goes or what it is for, this aid to the several states would be better spent if left in the several states instead of being taken out and filtered through some feral agency and sent back with all sorts of strings attached. We are being taxed and then bribed into stooping and bowing to the wishes of those who think they know better how we should act or spend the money they took from us to begin with if we want any of it back.

It's even worse. Much of that money is either borrowed or just simply printed.

To get back on track, population density is probably a bigger factor. But, I'll not let my original statement fall. Dependence upon government is a blanket statement which would include feral, state, county, and local government. YMMV, but it is how I see it. Out here in God's country, or the Heartland,(often referred to as Flyover Country) we are more spread out and self sufficient. We don't all have city sewage, rubbish removal, parks, public pools, and a myriad of other government services too numerous to cloud my memory with. In a dense population, government services appear necessary. That equates to a correlation between dependence upon government and higher instances of easily communicable disease.

What a load of BS lol.... I honestly couldn't care less... but the length you went to not admit you were wrong was quite impressive. Like it or not, Iggy was right.

I made no such admission of being wrong. I merely expounded on the circumstances and consequences of a dense population that create a dependence upon government to meet basic needs. That's how statistics like those posted in comment #1730 come about. Living under conditions requiring a dependence upon government will lead to easily spread disease.

Like I said, you just talked around the issues. Problem with your theory is..... New Mexico, Alaska, an others have some of the highest reliance on the government. But your original statement that Democratic states are 7 to 8 times are more reliant on the government just isn't true.
