water snake belonging to the Nerodia family, exact sub species I can't say, as a water snake it will also gave kneeled scales and give live birth unlike the rats, bulls and kings which are egg layer..

I was going out to get my lawnmower out of my shed the other day and I heard a chirping type sound. I couldn’t figure out what it was so I went around towards the back of my building and I see a snake about 4 foot long with a pretty big frog in its mouth!! He had the frog by its back legs and half the frogs body was in the snakes mouth. It was the frog making the chirping sound. I scared the snake and it let it go and went under the shed. The frog hopped away and was making the chirping sound the whole time. I went over to him to check him out he was letting me pet it with my finger! Poor thing was scared to death. I was happy I saved him. I really like frogs. I know that’s the way it is for those kinds of animals but I wasn’t gonna let the frog get ate. I went and put him in the creek next to my house.

I like frogs too. Mainly fried. Mmmm mmmmm. All kidding aside I’d have done the same thing. I’m partial to turtles. I’ll stop to help them cross the road.
