Makes a bunch of grumpy old men feel great to commiserate.
I thought about that when making my suggestions, but I think what a lot of people are asking themselves is 'how do I fight against this?'.
I think that's the core of what people want to do.
Being non-confrontational is good (I think it's the nature of the folks that would be in this movement), but it's also how we stay behind the curve when the other side is over the top confrontational.

I haven't heard anything from Okuma yet. In the meantime I highly recommend you send your own individual letter to the law enforcement center of your choice.

Maybe it's just me... but I didn't realize this was presented as a "forum sponsored" idea.
I thought it was just for folks that want to participate. Kinda like an ENS or something.
Just go to your local Co-op in the morning and listen.
Are we showing support for cops that enforce unconstitutional gun laws, man roadblocks/checkpoints, and arrest folks for possession of a plant? Or just showing support for the "good" cops? Not sure how much law and order I want to endorse, to be honest...
If something has been legislated to be illegal, then it is law enforcement's job to enforce those laws. Every law is constitutional until it has been ruled as unconstitutional. So, support these folks as they attempt to do their job. Cops that are corrupt or abusive need to be gone, so again the good ones need our support so that they will be confident in policing their own ranks.
