I knew it. Biden is running on another AWB.

Not as many will resist as some would like to think...

I guess we'll have to wait and see. We may all have to choose what is important enough to us to draw a line in the sand for. In the meantime, let's hope that he doesn't win. I'd rather not have to draw that line in the sand if I can avoid it.

Thoughts? I was just a kid when the 94awb was in place. What was it like? How does the grandfathering work? How do you guys think this will be the same/different?

This comes down to learning from history and paying attention to what politicians are currently saying. According to Biden and his extremists Progressive Democrats which seem to be the majority of them, there will be no more grandfathering.

I remember the 1994 to 2004 assault weapons ban. Things have progressed from then and you can look at the blue states which chose to enact and carry on their own form of it after the sunset. Lots of guns you could still own then you can’t now. Draconian BS

According to the latest proposed plan there will be a $200 registration on all rifles and a $200 tax stamp on so-called high Cap magazines per magazine.

Some of the things they have tried to pass in the not so far past is with Obama’s illegally signed UN treaty that wasn’t ratified because they didn’t have both the senate and house. Thankfully Trump shredded it. People have no idea how bad this was and it was just shelved waiting for the Democrats to gain a three part majority. A legal binding treaty would supersede our second amendment. People do not realize how close we came to being disarmed legally by Obama without having to have a convention of the states should he have had both the House and Senate majority’s

Boils down to you can’t trust Democrats when it comes to Second Amendment rights. Don’t believe a daaaaaaaam thing they say.

Well, just as everyone ..."Obeyed"....and stayed home during the flu ...I would say....mmmm45% will give up their guns to be good citizens and believing it will make everyone safe.

The democrats get back power, #1 they will never give it up. # 2...on the main agenda will be ....Revenge.

Senile Joe falls,...Big Mike has his jock strap on...ready to run...been practicing all along.

I have mixed feelings. But, food for thought:

Read more: https://www.ammoland.com/2019/04/fo...s-turned-in-to-nj-state-police/#ixzz6UNKTci6S

SGT Kristina Pados of the New Jersey State Police responded to our FOIA request. She confirmed what our sources inside the New Jersey Police told us. The gun owners of New Jersey have surrendered no magazines.

However, she did state that local departments might have them.

AmmoLand reached out to local police departments across New Jersey and have not been able to find a single magazine turned over to the authorities. It would seem like the gun owners of New Jersey have decided to ignore the law most likely because it is unenforceable.

I see a lot of this in our future.

I agree. I just that we have to worry about the line at all.

Man, y'all think Trumps team flinches when he gets on Twitter..... how about Biden's team every time he publicly speaks?

I think That is why he’s been pulled out of traveling on the campaign trail and debates.

I bought more "assault" weapons, kits and mags during the ban than before or after. Every time Bill Clinton said you can't have that kind of gun, I bought one. There were many loopholes in the law and manufacturers took advantage of them. I bought a CETME for $350 from Century. FAL kits were $99 and Imbel receivers were $100. AK47 kits were $79 and you could bend your own flat. All of these kits were complete with original barrels (Bush screwed that up later). Add some American parts under 922r and you were good to go. Magazines for them were dirt cheap and I bought tons of them. FAL mags $5 new in wrap (with leather pouches) and AK47 mags $5-10. I bought a bunch of new aluminum G1/CETME mags for $2 each. All of these were hi-cap mags.

AR-15's and hi-cap mags for them and some pistol mags were expensive. You just had to change your taste in what you wanted and bought.

My point is it wasn't really a restrictive ban if you were more open to what you wanted. The next ban they will have learned their lesson, be smarter and it will be brutal.
