Dang, I like this deal and may have to go get one. I love me some lever action guns. I have a Henry .22 and a Winchester model 94 and a Henry .44 mag would be awesome. I've killed dear with .44 mag in my revolver and now I think I need the longer stick in that round....thinking....

Ones as good as the other I think. But neither tops my 30-30 for range and dropping power.
But a 45-70 is what I'd really like I think.
Everybody should have a 30-30 in my opinion. Mines a JM stamped one. I don't have the 45-70 either but I do have a JM stamped Marlin in 35 Remington that'll git er done..

My very first new gun purchase ever was a Marlin Glenfield 30-30 when I was fifteen.

If I had gun collecting money I would own several JM stamped Marlins along with many S&W revolvers.

I just bought a stainless Rossi .357. It is strung out over my gun room benches being smoothed out inside. It looks like they made some of the parts with a chainsaw in place of a mill. I had the Henry brass framed .357 but, I didn't like the tube magazine.
