Still waiting for someone to show data for a declination in numbers since mask mandates were passed. Since they are significant in fighting transmission and all.
All I got is empirical evidence. June 1st - Phase II re-opening, people observed everywhere without masks or social distancing. People were simply throwing caution to the wind and we started a significant spike. During the past several weeks we have had mandates, and most everyone I see at stores are wearing mask and practicing social distancing. I was in Sam's, Lowes, Walgreens, and Uptown Grocery today and only saw a total of 6 people without a mask, 3 of them were a mother and 2 children. The number of cases rising and dropping seem remarkably tied to changes in behavior.

Interesting...but I also believe the spike was due to more testing.
There has been more daily tests beginning in June but I'm guessing many tests are performed because someone is exhibiting symptoms or has been in contact with a confirmed case. The "gray" bars int the chart below are the number of daily tests.

It's all speculation at this point... We've never promoted mask usage during any other viral outbreak - even the flu 2017-18 season or the Swine flu of 2009. Reason the numbers dropped in 2009 was that Obama simply stopped testing for it. LOL

It's warmer outside and more people have had it... 4 independant antibody tests show that many, many more people have than first thought. So, this thing could have spread through the population and it's simply petering out now as the options to spread to others who haven't been infected are dwindling. The mask stuff is utter ********; most people are wearing thse cloth masks which is about as good as putting your underwear on your head.

Everything about this thing screams politics... I'm convinced if Hillary won and the country wasn't already burnt to the ground by now, we'd had hardly heard about it like we did during the Swing flu pandemic.

**** the mask mandates and **** the governemnt that arrests people for trying to run their businesses but gives protestors and ****ing rioters a pass. LOL how can anyone trust these people? And Fauci? That mother ****er knew about the benefits of Hyrdoxychloriquine 15+ years ago... Factions within our own government are literally killing their own people for politics... But us lame ass complacent Americans do the same **** we always do. Obey.

That one is showing net active cases, which a number of variables could apply to the recovery of covid. New infections are what I'm looking for because looking at the data from health.ok.gov shows an increase overall since the week the mandate was employed here and it's almost been a month.

Let's take the executive report from July 10-16

https://coronavirus.health.ok.gov/sites/g/files/gmc786/f/2020.07.17_weekly_epi_report_0.pdf

Then let's look at the one from last week.... while it did show a decrease from the previous week.... the week before had a 70% jump.

Kind of interesting to see that trend line still increase in positives.

The first chart I posted shows daily active, recovered, and deceased numbers over time stacked on each other which gives a better view of trend. The reports you are referencing only compare the current week with the previous week. You would need to graph all the weekly Executive Report findings to see any real trend.
