Man I grew up in that town. Loved it back then, but looking back it was a poverty pit. Found out my best friend died when he was 13 on his 4 wheeler when someone hit him on a dirt road. But I digress, probably only option is going to be satellite. They just ran fiber optic this year in Porum and Porum landing areas, but I don't know if it was installed on Canadian.

You got my hopes up. The wife and are in the high risk group group for covid-old and diseased. She a bit more seriously than me. I am going to New Mexico in November for an Elk hunt. She says when I return I have to self isolate for 14 days at the Daughters cabin in Canadian-at Lake Eufala.

I guess I will have to load the Kindle up with books and do a bunch of reading. Wonder how much fresh elk meat one guy can eat in two weeks.

I tried to get her to go elk hunting with me, but she is seriously afraid of the thing.

That is why I am asking about internet in Canadian.

Here, but occasionally There.
Don't know what you have for cell coverage there, but in addition to RV park WiFi, we have a Verizon Jetpack service with unlimited data. However, while there is unlimited data, once we reach something like 15 gig, it gets throttled back. It is still good for regular internet, but I don't do streaming, so I don't know how that would be.

I don't know if you would be interested in that since it sounds like you wouldn't be in Canadian all that long.

Hughes net in Canadian Ok was the best my friend used.
He is still there and had wifi and he could check all his cameras on his phone with it . he said 89 a month.
I talked with him today.
Local phone service there wanted 200 for the same stuff.

How is Hughes Net for live streaming?

In conversation with the wife this morning she suggested for entertainment I take my bowling ball mortar to the shop at the cabin and do the finish sanding a painting during that two weeks. I hate it when she is practical and countered the daughter will have the boat stored in the shop and it may be too cold to work in the shop in November. But that is a a great idea otherwise.
