Did a full cleaning of all but one rifle and man I'm tired. Figured I wouldn't be shooting much rifle because of the lack of ammo and the cost when you find it. I did a full cleaning and breakdown as well as oiling up and wiping down for a period of no shooting. I left one out that's easy to get ammo for and I have a lot of factory ammo stored for that cal. The rest I tucked into bed.
Tomorrow I'll do the same with my handguns and getting ready to prep brass for reloading. Not going to be able to just go out and drop 600 rounds of fun. Will need to be cautious.
I enjoy cleaning my guns, even the AR's. Have always found it calming. I guess I get lost in the process but it gives me an appreciation to the gunsmiths like Browning and the rest.
Anyway, I have a few things to square away this weekend on the reloading room. With a few more bullet molds, I'll get a chance to test loads. Anyone with bullet quality ingots they want to sell at a reasonable price, let me know

Good for you. I’m derelict more often than not just to clean the bore after a trip to the range. They always get a wipe down but usually pile up for a few weeks before getting a bore cleaning.

I used to have a marathon gun cleaning day, but now don't mess with them until accuracy falls off. Keep a silicon soaked cloth to wipe them down before going back into the safe.
