I love winter, and it's not really a good winter unless there are a few nights down to 0 - 10 degrees. I don't like for it to stay below freezing though for more than a couple of days at a time, and I don't like driving on ice and snow... but as long as it doesn't stay so cold and for so long it starts causing damage and problems for people, I don't mind cold weather. Summer is my LEAST favorite season and I'm always happy to see September 1 because while it may still be hot, the light is at the end of the tunnel. I used to have an outdoor job so I do understand it's harder for some people, but I'd rather it be cold than hot.
Not yet, but I thought about it.
I dont need to research it, those that use more than a little bit of their brain understand what I mean.

Does the Farmer's Almanac have a good record for predicting the weather here in Oklahoma in the last few years?
I ask because a woman I work with is always quoting their predictions and it seems like she is usually wrong.
I haven't picked one up in decades so I have no idea.
I noticed several trees in the Shawnee area starting to show some color this last week.
At first I thought maybe it was because it has been fairly dry here lately after so much rain before but the more I saw I believe it just because it's that time of year.
