I probably didn’t need another 22, but I got all hot and bothered for this one. Ruger American Target. Going to top it off with a Leupold 3X9 and throw my can on it. Thinking it will reek havoc on the coons stealing corn from my feeders.

Another 2,000 rounds of .32ACP Walther PPK Food, (1,000 PPU 71g FMJ and 1,000 Fiocchi 73g FMJ) was delivered from www.trueshotgunclub.com a few minutes ago. They ship fast and the price was good, $299 per 1,000 rounds! I have ordered various calibers from these guys several times now and they always get it to me in a matter of days. .32ACP is also easier to get right now than about any other pistol caliber it seems. Walthers gotta eat too ya know.

I’ve never owned a large caliber bolt action rifle. Other than an entry .22LR I’ve never owned a bolt action at all.

Decided to change that and picked up a Mossberg Patriot in walnut with a Vortex 3-9 at Academy.

I got a new CZ 75 SP-01 9mm...in my hands at the gun range this morning. One of the fellows I shoot with had a new one that a friend of his gave him to try out.

The CZ is definitely heavier compared to the Glock 26 I was shooting, but it feels good in my hand and is a comfortable shooter. Not much recoil at all, thanks in large part I am sure to the weight. It shot very accurately, with the best part being how nice the trigger felt.

I only put one magazine through it, but the fellow shooting it did really well with his accuracy and had no issues with it. I can see why CZ owners really like their guns.
