Do a few of you know how? (no names mentioned)

I found a site where you can download some pretty decent novels for free. I have always been a sucker for the old sailing war ship novels. The Richard Bolitho novels by Alexander Kent are my favorites. This site has several you can download in PDF format for those of us with tired old eyes. They are free and you do not have to join to download.

The Complete Midshipman Bolitho is the first books in the series.

When I worked at the VA, I found several patients who could read. I felt very sorry for them because as they grew older and were less active reading could be a source of pleasure and "travel" for them. But they'll never have that unless someone teaches them to read and where a lot of them lived that is not likely.

I'm addicted to reading. When I was a kid, my mom would tell me to put the books away and go outside.
Learned a lot about hunting, fishing, and general outdoor life that I've used over the years.
Have a kindle reader and the app on the computer/phone so when out in the RV and we aren't doing anything, its a total pleasure to sit in the zero gravity chair in the shade and read a book.
WWII history, outdoor books of any kind, Kusler, Koontz, Patterson series, and others similar. Steven King in small amounts. His books start out slow and boring but building the final half that is mind bending with the story line.

I am deep into book 4 of the Bob Lee Swagger series. 12 more novels to go after this one.
Book one, which the Wahlberg movie was based off of, is called Point of Impact by Stephen Hunter.
Best $45 I've spent in quite a while.
I have a Kindle here somewhere loaded up with almost my entire library, but I just can't seem to enjoy it.
I've got an addiction to the way an old book smells. I've got thousands laying around the house.

When I fall in love with an author, I have to read *everything*.
I'm missing a few Dean Koontz books, some were extremely limited print when he was new.
I have every book Stephen King has ever written (including two copies of that forbidden book), and 90% of his graphic novels. Still searching for some.
I have all of Joe Hill's books (that'd be King's son, for some of y'all), including a personalized autographed copy.
I have everything up until 2003 for Clive Cussler, when I moved on.
I binged the Stieg Larsson Dragon Tattoo series (including the succeeding author) over the summer.
I have everything Trevanian wrote, even the pen names. I wrote a thread that went largely unnoticed about Shibumi, which, just as a refresher, is the book John Wick was based off of.
That's just what I can see from here. I'm running out of space. Someday I'll have a man cave with a wall of literature...

I used to read a lot, back when one of my part time jobs was sitting and babysitting pipeline equipment for 12 hours. My go-to authors were Dean Koontz, James Lee Burke, James Patterson and, of course, the late, great Robert B. Parker (RIP). Since RBP's passing way back in early 2010, I haven't done too much reading. There were a couple of guys who picked up the reins and continued with his Spenser and Jesse Stone novels, but they just seemed to lack something, so I eventually quit reading all together.
