Had one just like this as a child and have been looking for years for a replacement (light blond finish stock).
Unfortunately I could never come to an agreement with the estate on a price that would be even somewhat reasonable. Now that I look back, I wish I had spent the extra and snagged it. Sure was a beauty.
EDIT: The rifle sold for what they were asking, $400.00 —-WOW—-
Springfield Model 120A; made by Savage Arms. The barrel stamp reads; "Springfield - Model 120A ", "Savage Arms, Westfield Mass. USA" ".22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle".

That’s the gun that started Carlos Hathock’s path to becoming a sniper.

I’ve still got my grandpa’s Sears Roebuck single shot 22 that is almost identical to this gun. No scope however. Still one of the most accurate 22’s in my collection.
