I've got a Glock 43 and a 43x but they do not have light bearing rails. After looking at the market hardly any do. By that I mean any reputable brands. The new Sig 365 does. I think Walther does and Springfield might, does anybody else? I want to carry a light on my single stack edc gun.
Note: I have the TLR6 on my 43 and it sucks. I want a real weapon light.

The original Walther PPS does, The M2 does not. The Walther CCP has a rail.

Springfield XD and Hellcats have rails

Not much else does

It's frustrating that the Shield doesnt have rails...
But yeah, some argue about the need for a light on a carry gun but I think it's ridiculous.
Has anyone ever thought about this? If you're putting night sights on a carry gun and its pitch black dark in your house (or anywhere you're attacked), your night sights will glow yes, but how in the hell are you going to aim at a target, much less identity it, if it's dark... Without a light? Therfore, if a gun has night sights you ought to immediately buy a weapon light. And yes I understand a handheld will work but this is 2020 and twohand grips debates are old news. But if you have a good weapon light, it negates the need for overrated night sights.
Sorry, I highjacked my own posting.

There’s a good argument to use a handheld light for target identification vs one mounted on your gun. Namely that your aren’t violating rule #2 of firearms safety when your are pointing your light at whatever your identifying. Handheld lights are also a great way to illuminate your iron sights. I’ve found that a temple index positions the light in the correct orientation to illuminate your iron sights and target. It’s a good idea to practice using a light whether you weapon mount it or carry a handheld.

KelTec PF9, may not cost you $700, but in my experience they are very reliable and come with a rail...Ive never used it but I got one lol.
I think most dont have light rails because they market to the compact concealable side of things. Adding accessories or any bulk kind of goes against that (maybe to them?)
