I had a Pelican case years ago but, weighting almost 20 lbs. empty it got old quick. I have a nylon cloth case from MidWay that is much lighter and will hold a 53" rifle. I don't remember what it cost but, I know it was less than the Pelican.

Jeez, I should go correct the first post... no more posting from my phone. Seriously terrible Engrish.

It's definitely good that you are better at shooting than typing. [emoji38] [emoji38]

Just kidding. Nice shooting. [emoji38]

What is your thinking on this? The whole point of a tactical scope is to not have to mess with caps.

This isn't really for the tactical crowd. At least, not the way I think of it. I like turret caps because I always worry they'll get knocked off zero banging around in the truck, case, etc. Of course, it's wedged in that Pelican case pretty tight, so I doubt anything is gonna happen to it.

I have a Nikon scope with "Tacticool" turrets that do not lock and No caps over them.
I hate that scope.
They can and do get bumped and change the setting.
This type is one you can pull up on the turret and rezero it.
So you never know if the thing was pulled up and moved or if it just turned and moved.

Awful in a situation where you need to hit what you aim at.
A set screw or a lock would be good .

That's the whole point of the zero stop. Get your zero, set your zero stop and never worry again. Gets bumped no big deal dial back to zero. Figure out your dope. Add your clicks then back to zero.
