Ice Storm! (?)

My power is always off for a short time too it seems. Until now. I've had 1 and now 2 generators since 2007 and have never got to really work them out, until now. Day 3 is in the books and heading to day 4 without power.

My mother has a whole house Generac backup. Hers has never run for more than a couple of hours and then only a couple of times I think. Until today. I went over and checked on things as she's in the hospital and it had been running for 6 hours. Sure is nice that the garage door and every light in the house still works. My next house will have one for sure.

I just got power back in central Mustang. Out since 6am yesterday.

I spent all day cleaning up my place. I have three piles of limbs I have to cut down. I hear OKC won't start cleaning up this storm debris until the middle of November. It could take months once they start. They are still in negotiations with contractors right now.

I'm still debating about hunting tomorrow evening and Saturday or cleaning up after the storm.

I wish my cameras showed more activity. That would make the decision a little easier. [emoji1787]

Wifey said she cussed me every time she made a payment when we bought one to run the entire house including HVAC system.
We are the only house in our hood that has had continuous power for 5 days now. Just today I got the internet back.
Wifey said she was taking back all the bad things she said because she would have been climbing the walls right now. Sure glad it is around the holiday season, she's busy gussing up the house.

I would be curious how much it increased your gas bill.
