It's not panic buying cause the weird ammo has disappeared too.what if they already are? you really think the ammo shortage just has to do with panic buying?
^^This^^This tax would be totally unenforceable on a large scale. They might bust a few people and try to make an example, but if the govt can’t find 11 million illegals hiding in plain sight, they’re not going to find your 30 rd AR mags in your garage closet behind the hot water heater.
That would suck so bad for gun owners in the future... Makes me wonder if that's precisely the plan. They can't go door to door and ask for a mag check, so they'll try to cut off mag purchases at the point of purchase.^^This^^
I'm not worried about having to pay $200 per mag that I have now,(if I had any) it's unenforceable.
What they may try is to tax any new mags sold with a new gun purchases.
If a glock comes with 3 new 12 round magazines, that will be an extra $600 with that $500 gun.
This! I'd like to go hit the range more but I don't want to shoot what few rounds I have and not be able to replenish them! It's not panic buying cause the weird ammo has disappeared too.
I wanted another box of 9mm Flobert (made by Fiocchi) and it's all disappeared. Just how many people suddenly want some?

MIT says that the number is actually between 30-35 million illegals. Media sources that say 11 million have been using that statistic number since about 2000 or beforeThis tax would be totally unenforceable on a large scale. I believe the 30-35 million number for sure. They’re everywhere, but the govt has absolutely no way to round them up...MIT says that the number is actually between 30-35 million illegals. Media sources that say 11 million have been using that statistic number since about 2000 or before
