The biggun looks like a beaver. You sure the little one ain’t a groundhog?
Maybe wrong but that also looks like a beaver skull although much larger. There is only the upper half and more deterioration.

I think muskrats are smaller, not larger idk?
Muskrats do good to break two pounds when mature. Mature beaver can weigh 40 lb + easily.
They look like a mature and a juvenile beaver to me. I have a skull in the shop from a beaver I trapped that looks just like them.
