I work at a University,,,
I'm surrounded by liberal idiocy.

Pretty much all of the faculty now put their preferences in their e-mail signature,,,
Pretty much everyone I know ignore them.

Hasn't been something those of us who work for Uncle Sam have been asked to start doing . . . . yet.

I don't really even understand this whole pronoun thing very well. Can some one post some examples ,so those of us who live in a "He or She" world can have a better grasp?

"He," "She," and "It" works IMO.

Here’s what little I know..

In some instances, you might interact with a transgender person, and outwardly this person may look like one gender, but identifies with the other gender. Calling this person by the outwardly appearing pronoun can be considered offensive, hence the “need” for PGP.

One suggested workaround, such as it is, has been suggested in the form of “they” or “them” in a singular form. “So-and-so will be here alone today, and they will bring with them the materials needed for the meeting...”

I'm a damned Boomer. A kid a worked with tried this **** with me. He apologized to me after a few days. (He had to address me as "Your Royal Highness". Little **** thought I was kidding until I pulled the paperwork out to write him up. I would have never done it but he didn't call my bluff ... Lol ... I don't think he is even there any more. He was a constant source of discussion in the manager's chat and no one has mentioned him for a few weeks now. Definitely not a loss for the company.)
