Dentist, the new robber barons.

Holy crap! Have you guys seen the cost just to have some teeth pulled? My old dentist retired and I had to go to a new guy when I fell and broke some more teeth. Since I am on O2 he sent me to an oral sturgeon. $200 per freaking tooth! Another wants $270!

I am going to check out an old dentist I was told about by my doc and if he is not reasonable I will do it myself. Soon as the wife is not around to freak out again.

Dentistry is the strait up wild west. I swear it's unregulated and they should wear handkerchiefs over their face cause it's a damn bank robbery.

That being said you can find some honest ones. I drive 45 minutes a couple towns away to mine. She is half of what the scalper a mile from my house charges.

FWIW, you can find stainless dental tools fairly cheap on Ebay and Amazon...

I have Ambesol, vice grips, cotton pads and my pain pills. They do not want to change a reasonable fee, I can do it myself.

Be sure and disinfect everything thoroughly.

My Dad told me about two old bachelor brothers that lived together. One got a toothache, and had the other one pull it with a pair of pliers. Shortly after his tooth was pulled, he got lockjaw (tetanus) and died.
