Big difference between a peaceful citizen that really needed that truck, probably to drive to the grocery store to get food for his ailing auntie, and the thug that thought that just because it was his truck that that gave him the right to pull out his six-gun like some cowboy from the old days. They need to gather all them damn guns and buy more trucks for the folks in the hood.

The world we live in.

Sad thing is, there are those who would love to see the victim prosecuted for this.
Including the DA.

I guess I don't get it. He stole the tow truck even after the gun was pointed at him? It says the owner told police the GPS where the truck was and the police went there. Was this before the guy calls 911 on himself? The article was not very helpful.

The thought process of the thieves, home intruders etc is "How dare you do this to me?" Or "they din' haf to shoot him with a gun, dat wuz mah son an he had his whole life ahead of him."
