Milt Sparks will take quite some time no matter what from my experience. TT used to be quicker but it's been quite some time.

TT is a decent holster, but the Milt Sparks is a better holster in my opinion. However, this is based on solely on my experience with the MS Versa Max 2VM2 and the TT reinforced IWB. I’ve owned many VM2s and a handful of TTs. I’ve even replaced 2-3 TTs with VM2 because of the TT breaking down and not holding the position I wanted. 3 months of a TT showed more distortion than 2 years of a MS.

All that said, my EDC X9 rides in a JM Custom Kydex AIWB Wing Claw 2.

A I’m carrying it for a potential life saving gunfight instead of a OSA fashion show.

If I wasn’t currently carrying it AIWB, it would probably be in the VM2 at 3:30. Unless I found a Kydex that performed as well in that position. Kydex is rougher on the finish than leather, but performs better if built correctly. All holsters are not created equal. There is an abundance of junk out there, both leather and Kydex.

Agree with you 100% on the difference in quality. MS just takes forever and he said he wanted to carry it now. Personally, I'd be running Kydex too but that's just me. Wear = character.

No doubt. TT is quoting 4 weeks, MS 18-24 weeks. [emoji50]

My EDC has plenty of character!! [emoji16]

I've gotta find my gauge. Think my son has it. At first I was thinking 4 1/2 to 5 lbs. But now I'd swear this trigger is under 4 lbs. Maybe it's just me being enamored with this baby.

I drug out my gauge.

It shows 3”lb 10oz. Or 3.625# Lyman Digital Trigger Gauge. 5 pulls 3-9, 3-10, 3-11, 3-10, 3-10.

My gun may have a few more rounds through it than yours does!! [emoji23]

This is what I’m running now.
JMCK AIWB Wing Claw 2.0. Note it is a “X9-L” holster. The additional length gives a bit more leverage to tilt it into my stomach. It is also equipped with the option Discreet Carry concepts clips. These clips are awesome, but not real easy to put on and off the belt. It’s easier now that I’m used to it.

Mag pouch is also JMCK. AIWB high ride with a 18rd mag. I wear it inside the belt, but outside the pants.

Holsters for the EDC

Current picture You can see the grip tape for my support thumb. I run it on my competition guns and carry guns if it doesn’t interfere with the holster. Note the shorter trigger.

Large Backstrap

Wilson Ameriglo front site. I’m going to see if I can custom order it in the luminous green as my eyes pick it up better. Either from Wilson or direct from Ameriglo. Or possibly have them refinish one.

The front sight mount is interesting and very secure.

The other change I made was simply cosmetic. The green grip panels instead of the original black.
