Without spending a thousands of dollars on a big machine, is there any tips or tricks aside from the good ole 3 pan sorter system to churn through large amounts of brass.

All sorting has been done with these, along with an aluminum plate for sorting 380's from 9's. I stood back this afternoon at my buddies shop and marveled at the amount of brass that I've sorted over the past 2-1/2 months.

This is 10 weeks worth of 9MM in the picture below. My best guess is 50k to 60k.

Aside from what's in the picture, there is two 5gal buckets of 45, 1.75 buckets of 40, 1 bucket of 380, 1.5 buckets of .38spl/44mag, 3 buckets of 22's/scrap, and 1 bucket of other assorted calibers. Now I know why my hands have been hurting lately.

This brass is NOT mine. It belongs to the range, but I help sort it and get to take a cut of any caliber that I'm needing at the time. It's a deal between friends and I've enjoyed helping them out thus far. It's kept me shooting. Does anyone have any info on a way to automate some or all of this process that won't break the bank? If not, it's not a big deal. We're getting it done, albeit slowly.
