No, it means that such a law in Florida may come under a legal challenge like the one we are under. It's nothing like the law infringing the RKBA in DC.

Ours is a contest between a freedom loving people and corporations run amok.

I just found this on the Florida law: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24033282&GT1=43001

The measure exempts a number of workplaces including nuclear power plants, prisons, schools and companies whose business involves homeland security.

A lot more places could be considered involving homeland security than you might imagine: Grocery stores, gas stations, etc. The DHS has plans for taking over all such places in certain emergencies. That phrase, in the hands of some judges, could limit your right to carry most places in Florida.

when you are selecting a car parking place, you must checkout there whether park mark is available or not.If you park your car in urban area, you will definitely face some problems and the company will not be responsible.

In Florida a court just ruled that employers could not prohibit employees from leaving weapons in their locked cars in the parking lot.

We have two states here that have ruled in opposite ways. Think this will show up at the federal level?

Actually the OK State Court upheld the OK law, but the Federal District Court ruled against it in OK. It remains to be seen if the FL case will continue to Fed District Court, as some opponents have vowed to do.

Since there are different Federal Court Districts, it is entirely possible to get opposite rulings in different districts.....

The florida law has been upheld for the most part in federal court. The federal court there rejected the argument used here, namely that employers could ban guns as part of compliance with OSHA safe workplace environments.

I have no update on our law. I have tried to check with the 10th Circuit, but there appears to be no change.
