I think I would just have to let this unfortunate experience go without further action. I don't mean to say the way you were treated was right (it DEFINITELY wasn't professional), but I don't think the experience warrants a response.
Keeping a building like that secure has got to be a little more stressful than, say, a grocery store or something like that. Again, no excuse for the rudeness. Hopefully he will re-calculate his behavior and not do that again.
