True, for a backwoods pack gun. I was thinking just for out on the farm or short hikes. Lighter and can run rat shot if wanted. If I want better...
What about an XL with threaded barrel? That’s what I want to get!
How's your XL running?
I’m very interested in this. It has a rail, threaded barrel, 16rd mag, and under $200 msrp. In 8-10 years when Karl-Tec catches up with production...
If I hadn’t just gotten mine mounted to the workbench I’d do the same.
The takedown detent and spring in the lower? There are tools and tricks for that.

I’m a couple days short of a year now.
This one isn’t a “little” tight. And I have been unable to load the 15th round.
Anyone else get their hands on a 15rd mag? I picked one up today, and the spring is stupid difficult to compress. More so than any handgun mag...
I have one. It’s extremely accurate. Very mild recoil. Mine is a custom off a Foster slide and frame.
Have you guys tried it with the 12 round mag? It makes a huge difference in feel and control.
That would be awesome! The CMMG RDB action is very nice. And drop in to an otherwise standard AR. Just the bcg and barrel.
