I also think this will be a good thing for OSU. They have been little brother since the start of time. Let them get their own identity in the own conference and maybe flourish. Could work out well for them.
That looks about right. OU is preseason #1 this year in several polls. Lot's of teams breaking in new quarterbacks. Alabama lost almost their whole team to the draft last year. OU would be favored against everyone in the SEC this year.
The Big 12 went 5-0 in bowl games last year including beating the SEC. For 2022 OU has the #5 recruiting class including two 4* LB, a 4* DL, and a 4* IOL. Grinch is finally getting his players in his system.
Well OU has already beaten Auburn and Florida the last couple years and put 50 points on Georgia losing in overtime. OU is probably the only school that can go toe to toe with Alabama. Riley is recruiting at a very high level also.
OU will be just fine in the SEC. The Big 12 went 5-0 in bowl games last year. Texas beat Georgia in a bowl year before last. OU beat Florida and Auburn recently in bowls. OU has a winning record vs Alabama. Hell Stoops was 3-0 against them. Riley is recruiting very well. Sooners will be fine...
