The AK is a non-issue lefty. The only gun I ever had an issue with was the Desert Eagle. The ejection was almost straight back . . . almost. It was a few degrees right of center and occasionaly would put one square between a lefty's eyes. Fun.
Yeah, they basically do anything that fits in the tanks, but their original idea was to do rifle stocks, bows, and fishing poles. Hondo is a good guy, too, so I like to send people his way.
I really like my Saiga 308 with 21" barrel. It has the Tapco folding stock, which I'm not fond of, but I'll change that out this year.
It doesn't tear up cases. I have the Tapco G1 trigger and while it has some initial takeup, it is smooth and crisp.
SOG and other places sometimes have great deals on 4003 "Police trade-ins." I shoot lefty too, but I've learned to live with a mostly right handed gun world.
Oh, and if the 4003 fts you like a glove, you must have some meaty paws!

Neat idea! I hunted with on once, and when I was in the stand, I just kept the bolt handle unlocked. If I saw something, I wold just need to push he bolt handle down to lock it, and fire. Since I didn't see anything, I opened the bolt and pushed the round back down into the magazine with my...
Dustin,
You can ship directly to the gunsmith and he can ship it directly back. An FFL isn't needed because there is no "transfer" of ownership involved. The same holds true for sending a gun back the the factory for repair.
Do not indicate on the package what is inside.

That's great! My mom showed me this old Chimpmunk rifle she bought when the BoyScout camp was getting rid of them. It's in good shape and she plans on giving it to my little one when he's a couple years older.
It's never too early to teach a child responsibility and safety. The "every gun is...
For a self defense shotgun, why limit yourself to wood stocks and why do you need choke tubes?
For a multipurpose pump, the another Rem 870 or Mossberg 500 are both great choices that you can get cheap at Wal-Mart, or your favorite local gun shop.
Or, like you said, another barrel for your...
While that seems logical, it wasn't the military mindset at the time. Talk to some Canadian vets, the were given one mag only. Ever. They were given stripper clips for reloading.

For those other than the OP who is already using a service, there is a company in Ada name Freedom Graphix who does this sort of work. I've seen several of their pieces and they do a good job.

I have a Taurus 44 Mag (the N frame clone). I put a cheap red dot on it because I had trouble seeing the sights at night when shooting at a skunk on two separate occasions (same skunk, maybe!). It's a big Wal-Mart cheapy and I hate it. I either need night sights or a small "docter" type...
I have a CZ40P that I love, and wouldn't trade for. I think they're not being made anymore? There's a CZ 40B, but it is a different frame that isn't as nice and ergonomic as the P01 frame on the 40P. All the CZ's I've ever shot or handled have been truly fine guns. I'd like a 550 Full stock...
I know a guy who threw a ported rifle (not Magna Port) across the top of his buddy's hood and when he pulled the trigger it cracked the windshield.

I agree with 12gaugebackup. Any name brand bullet will do well at those ranges in the 150-165 gr weight. The most useful thing will be to find out how each behaves in YOUR gun. What one guy's AR-10 likes, another guy's Savage 10FP might not like as well.

The hiponts are great, cheap, and fun. However, if you've just plinking get a Ruger 10/22. 1300 bones will get the rifle, scope, and a year's supply of ammo!
Stags are as good as any AR. They're basically all the same with a few exceptions.
