I figured thats kind of how it'd go. Only had one unpleasant run in with a game warden in Oklahoma, and that was while fishing. Every one that has stopped me while hunting has been pleasant. Just be nice, offer them some coffee maybe, and they'll probably let you walk with a pistol chambered...
Would love to see what running over a big pig with a truck would do to the truck. I almost feel like the pigs would just get up and run off and your truck would be a little uglier (or prettier, depending on how it started)
I find them wherever there is a lot of feed and water. Field fields, acorn plots. Usually the thicker cover the better unfortunately. Last few that I killed were around 2pm in the rain.

Thats ridiculous, hows making them register fake guns going to make them less likely to get shot when they threaten to shoot someone with it? I'd shoot them if it looked real because I wouldn't know if it was real or not.
I'd heard that the HP's are unreliable, either they expand very nicely, or poke a .3" hole in the animal. Since I found SP, I decided to give them a go, if they don't work, then HP's here I come.
My hogs aren't usually nice enough to stop and look me in the eye, they hear my truck and haul ass out of there, but they do leave me some quartering away shots if I get into the field fast enough
What loads should I be looking to use for hogs in this round?
I know that a soft point is preferable, but will a 150's or 120's load be better. Also, which manufacturer should I be looking for.

I always found shooting shotguns helps a lot, and keeping two eyes open with a shotgun helps you with hitting two birds (not as much time searching for 2nd bird)
