Ever been to Sgt. Everrets range?

Thanks for the good review. I'm glad you enjoyed our ammo. If you still have the box/tray from that box please look on it and pm the four digit lot number to me. I'm not aware of anyone else having this problem and the lot number would tell us all of the details of the loading. Hey...

    Zombie Targets

I don't know if they are the same type but the ones at sgt. Everrets have a separate image of the brain showing the angle for proper brain shot placement. ;-)

Anyone ever use Red River Ammo?

Well, there are a couple of reasons for our online pricing. First, we do the vast majority of our business through local retail shops. We value these shops greatly and our online pricing is there to support their pricing structure. It makes no sense for us to sell at wholesale to the public...

    University of Oklahoma gun club

I had the privelege of attending this event. It was absolutely great to see so many young shooters there. I was even able tom help a couple of the first time shooters. What a great group. I hope this club becomes a permanent fixture at OU. Trevor

Anyone ever use Red River Ammo?

Hey guys, I appreciate your interest. We work hard to turn out a good product. Like every ammo company, we have hiccupps occasionally. That is why we keep detailed records of every component that makes up every lot of ammunition. Just the other day a friend had to pound out a squib from a...

Hello everyone! New guy with Taurus Judge and questions on ammo!

We have a .45 colt defensive round that has performed really well in the Judge as well as in standard length cowboy style guns. 250gr Hornady XTP on top of new R&P brass. We have tested these alongside some of the defensive .410 and reached similar conclusion to the Box O Truth guys. As cool...

    Widows and Orphans

I don't live in a city, but my wife and I were discussing tonight that we know five or six families who are adopting right now, which is great. My best friends sister is adopting three boys from here in the state and my wifes cousin is adopting a couple of kids from Russia.

    When the zombies attack...?

I would retreat to our loading facility where my family, friends, and I would shoot thousands of them as they try to climb over the fence. Then we would police our brass and do it all over again. I may invite Mitch over with a van load of hard cast lead.

    How's your pecans doing?

My native pecan in the yard is doing pretty well. This is the first year we've had a good crop from that tree. Its about 20 years old this year. My dad's trees are loaded this year but they are mostly wormy and bad.

    Effing skunk

Yeah, we had a similar experience with some getting under our house and then spraying. I was not pleased. I used to trap a lot and so I am used to dealing with them on the trap line, but under the house is just ridiculous. I trap as many as I can to keep them thinned out around our place...

When is the new Big Boys going to open?

I was there yesterday and they were getting pretty close to having everything moved over. The new place is nice.

Finally got my wife interested in shooting.

We live in the country and shoot a lot, but when she went to the range for her concealed carry class she fell in love with it. I am not sure what she liked so much about shooting inside, but sounds like a good excuse for me to build a couple of shooting lanes in the old hay barn. ;-)

I love my XD 9 Tactical and Subcompact. I have not shot the .45 version yet, but I have been very happy so far with several thousand rounds down range.

    P22 test over time

I like mine a lot. I believe they have improved the design with the newer ones. Mine performs flawlessly and accurately with cci mini-mag and Rem golden bullets. However, it doesn't seem to care for the federal bulk ammo. I chronographed all three of those rounds and they were all pretty...

    identify this spider please!

Someone mentioned feeding it a grasshopper or cricket. Seriously, give it a try. It is really cool to watch. They'll wrap it up like deli meat quicker than who dunnit.
