I have a G35 with trijcon night sights and want to replace them with adjustable target sights. Looking for some opinions and feedback on different sights possibly a fiberoptic front. This gun is strictly a target/plinking gun. Let me know what you guys have and like/don't like.
Update to this thread. Did the .25 cent trigger job last week and installed the wolff competion trigger spring kit. This thing is awesome. I bought the gun used and when I got it apart to polish everything it already had a ghost connector. I put 250 rounds through it last saturday with 0 failure...
Well after reading and researching everything listed above I ordered a wolff competion trigger spring kit. I am going to install that and do the .25 cent trigger job and see how that works. Start with the cheapest stuff and work up. The G35 comes with a 3.5lb connector is there a difference...
I am purchasing a glock 35 for target shooting. I want to get a nice trigger on it what are some recomendations for triggers. Thinking maybe a fulcrum trigger or perhaps a gunsmith trigger job what are my options. This is not a carry or self defense gun so I want it light and crisp if thats...
One more question where do you OKC guys buy AA2230 at locally? I normally purchase powder from Gene Sears but they don't carry Accurate brand. I am looking for an 8lb container. Does powder valley do any of the local gun shows? Because they definatly have the best price.
I purchased some varget powder to reload 223 and 308 but it dosent meter very well in my hornady LNL auto powder measure. Seems like the grains are to big and get hung up for a second. The powder will still drop but sometimes it will push the 223 case necks in from the pressure of getting the...
Quote from Blitzfike "I've found that using slower burning powders with lead bullets lubed with a moly/wax lube can give me 300 fps more velocity than standard loaded jacketed bullets"
That is a really good idea I have never thought of doing that. I wonder if using a faster burning powder out...
I recently posted a question about reloads in a glock in the handgun section. After reading some of the post about to much crimp increasing pressures it got me thinking. Is there any solid information on crimp pressure to pressure rise. Not saying this is a good idea or to try it. But...
Looks like everyone has a different opinon on this subject some people are shooting lead through factory barrels and some are shooting reloads through factory barrels. I have already purchased 1K rounds of 40 lead from Mitch at J&K before I knew of the problem. So I am going to go ahead with the...
I purchased a glock 27 two years ago with no intention of reloading again. Then late last year got back into reloading. Now the problem. i have been reading all kinds of horror stories online about reloading for glocks. I understand the problem and dont push my reloads anywhere near the limit...
Hornady one shot is the first lube I tried when i started reloading bottlenecked cases. I find that it works best after sitting on the brass for awhile I fill my reloading trays and spray them the night before if possible and it works great. but if you spray them and try and run them through the...
Thanks for all the input guys. I really like the 450 but im probally gonna wait a year or two and see if the reloading componet prices go down. because i can reload .308's cheaper at the moment but if 450 gets more popular and more companies become involved I'm sure prices will go down. If not i...
I also looked at the 458 socom. I didnt realize the bullet diameter .458 was the same as the 45/70 that definatly is a plus for bullet avalibility. I am not stuck on the .450 I would also consider the .458. Basically whatever one is cheaper to reload for, and has available reloading componets...
I have been researching the 450 bushmaster round considering building my next AR around one. I would like some input from people who have a gun chambered in this round. What is the effective range for hunting deer and pigs, what is the recoil like and reloading data is hornady the only company...
Never heard of that. I googled it thinking you were messing with me its pretty popular as a sizing lube though.
I went to bass pro yesterday while there toyota was doing a test drive event and giving out $10 gift certificates for each drive. Got my gift certificate and picked up some of the...
