Guy I worked with got a 1" pipe nipple through his tire after moving our drilling rig. Cut a 1" circle clean out of the tire. Guess it bounced out of the parts house going down the bumpy dirt road. Tire had less than 500 miles on it too, dude was pissed.
The whole drive to Wilburton is pretty straight. Only two lanes though so not really ideal.
Did Hochatown to Heavener earlier this year in 40 minutes, google says it should take 1hr and 12 minutes. Lots of curves. Mustang ate it up, only dropped below 90 for a very curvy section going down a...
It's a good road, except for the approach to the Arkansas River. Nice smooth concrete then crappy asphalt gravel nonsense. Wish we could get a nice concrete four lane like that from Poteau to Pocola, which is used much more. Instead they just did a terrible job repaving it and put in passing...
I prefer 59 South between Sallisaw and Spiro. Six miles of nice smooth concrete to let my Mustang stretch her legs. Possibly the only smooth road in the surrounding six counties.
Not that hard to do...Twin turbo's, pushing that Coyote to 1000+ horsepower could easily get it done. Like someone already said, a bone stock Shelby will do 200.
I'd bet that the limiting factor here in Oklahoma would be the horrible roads, not the car.
I've seen rough condition Chinese SKS's at one of my local pawn shops for $450. $350 for rough condition Mosin M38/44's. I'm glad my Russian SKS and M44 are in awesome condition and I didn't pay anywhere near that for them.
Ya'll can blame me for this one. We drilled a few wells just a couple of miles from the epicenter. Also had one in Kansas last year that we drilled practically on top of the epicenter.
I only compare because my little first gen is not much bigger than a newer Taco. Those two extra cylinders suck alot of fuel. 4.10's and 4x4 don't help much either.
Damn you Taco guys are lucky. My 1st gen Tundra has yet to crack 15 MPG, even on flat unloaded interstate drives. I'd kill to get 20 or more! With two thirsty V8's to feed in my fleet, my fuel budget is huge lol.
