Does anyone have experience with ultrasonic cleaning? Have any of you ever stuck anything other than brass in one for cleaning? Like say, an old war rifle receiver. I am wondering if it would take care of the cosmoline but not harm the finish on the steel. Thanks.

So I'm a bit newer to the mosin addiction. I own both a 91/30 and a 44. What is the significance of the five line? Also, my goal is to have one from every decade since the start.

I also ordered a crate of 7.62x54R. I ordered from sportsmans guide though and paid about 90 per can. Not bad.
