Pardon the diversion.
Anyone got recommendations for a furniture maker that would cater to some custom demands?
I need something similar to these I lifted from the web. But no veneer. Dovetail joints, display drawers, possibly even a roll-top or pocket-door application for privacy when...
This will have a nice story behind it. Bought by a highly decorated WWII vet from Ada, after returning home. Given to his son (my 82yr old FIL) in the late 60s - early 70s. Now, soon to be passed on to his great-grandson (my nephew).
Thanks Ahall, Seen plenty by now with the info provided here. Wish that on the sold listings they told prices. But I see them ‘up there’ in comparable condition. Even one with the box but it was sold.
Just went over to my FiL’s to give him a hair cut and took a couple more photos since...
Thank you all! He asked me what it is worth. I think he is just wanting to know the value of what he’s passing in to his grandson. I had no idea what to tell him, not even knowing the model. You’ve given me what I need. Thanks!
I love the gaslighting… as in the pretense that this is all normal. Especially love the expertise being offered Christians on how they should react to a social contagion their government promotes, especially when it includes butchering children.
This video is about like watching an overweight...
I’ve had the Sharps and Rolling Block. Never did acquire the 1885 but I really like them.
ASSRA is where I planned to advertise next. Looks like “shipping is in my future. I used to be more active and collaborated with a few there on mold and chamber designs when I was competing. Lot...
Very nice .35 REM. I think the 52 was a Waffletop and most don’t like to see those drilled. But I had one once done very nicely. I could be wrong about 52 still being a WT. What model does the roll-stamp say? Barrel looks too short for a 336-A. Do you know if the wood numbers to the gun?
Good choice if not loaded hot and shooting cast. Those were cast rather than forged receivers. I’ve seen some chamber or rebarrel for larger cartridges and that is not a good ides with a cast receiver.
Thanks Chris… and a good Idea about the Tulsa show.
They say every picture tells a story. I think this of the Wagon is from 1886. There is a Ballard hanging from the wagon stays and the younger man has one standing at his side. This picture has me holding on to my roughest Ballard in...
I used to shoot all over the Northwest but here in Oklahoma I shot at the OKC club. Advanced glaucoma put a stop to all that. Moving these shooters to make room for a couple “Collector” Ballards. Probably close the listing in a day or two and post on a Singleshot forum. Just hoped to...
Three Marlin Ballards for Sale:
Just in case anyone shares my interest in Vintage Ballards I’ll leave this listing for a week or so. PM serious inquiries for individual photos. The three for sale start second from left (2nd, 3rd, & 4th in the stand). Plenty of pictures available.

Just to follow up…Called then went to their website per the recording. Don’t recall how I obtained the DOM but I had it as 2018. Site indicates upgrades no longer required in DOM after 9/2017. Couple screenshots after I entered my S/N.
Dang… i was hoping someone would repond about the upgrade.😂
I’ve got one and was wondering if you could tell if it had been sent back by a stamping or some such.
150 6A. It was loaded too. You knew who 1st, 2nd & 3rd would be, and really the order. The other 7 were all just scrapping for 4th. We beat the 4th place kid by a point at Regionals but he got us with a takedown 10 seconds before we’d have gone to overtime.
